For us, it’s about animals. Health and the environment are both very important but we are driven by our love of animals, wild or domestic.
As you look around our site, you will see that we have supported charities that care for animals. This will continue to form part of our reason for being.
Affiliated to the Vegetarian and Vegan Societies
The Vegetarian and Vegan Societies provide support and advice as well as campaigning to advance the causes of vegetarianism and veganism. Caring for animals is central to our way of life. Welcome to the official website of the Sevenoaks Vegetarians, Vegans and Fellow Travellers! Although we are centred on Sevenoaks we have members from as far as Maidstone, Orpington, Tunbridge Wells, Swanley, Coulsden and Oxted. If you are following a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle, or are thinking of becoming vegetarian or vegan (i.e. are a “Fellow Traveller”) and would like to meet up with like-minded people for mutual support and advice as well as joining an active social scene, then this is the group for you!

We don’t just spend our time talking about food, we also eat it! The picture above was taken at one of our annual Christmas dinners. The picture below is from one of our annual garden parties. All, of course, are vegetarian/vegan events. We always like to bring non-members to such events to show them how good veggie and vegan food can be.
